Our family kept bees since the dawn of Second World War. My name is Szymon Jablonski and I'm a proud third generation beekeeper. Our apiary in Poland had 90+ beehives producing more than 6500 pounds of honey each season.
In 2009 I have emigrated to UK and started beekeeping not long after the arrival. I've joined the British Beekeepers Association and three Regional Beekeepers Associations to improve my beekeeping skills.
Following the success of my first apiary I've decided to focus more on beekeeping and created the brand "Jaba the Bearded Beekeeper".
I've expanded the beekeeping operation to three independent apiaries totalling 60+ beehives. I'm in a process of registering with Bee Farmers Association so I can expand my sites even further.
My next focus will be expanding the third party beekeeping and helping creating community apiaries across the Derbyshire.
Jaba the Bearded Beekeeper is a beacon of traditional beekeeping practices, dedicated to preserving the art of beekeeping. We carefully tend to our hives to produce the finest natural honey and bee products, all harvested with respect for the bees and the environment.
Our apiaries are located across the Derbyshire. Our sites are located In Grangewood near Burton on Trent (forest apiary), Toyota Manufacturing by A38 Juncition and Morley Hayes golf course near Derby.
